TV news said that there has been a pretty strong storm in Northern France with winds up to 170km/h and 120km/h max. in and around Paris. Have ORY and CDG been operating as normal today or have there been chaos, delays and cancellations? It's quite windy in here now but nowhere as bad as it was in France.

I work very close to CDG and yes the weather has been quite bad today. The very strong winds started around 11:30 am until about 2 or 3 pm, so not too long so no chaos. But it is likely (didn't checked) that as usual in these cases, a bunch of european flights have been canceled for traffic regulation, and some long-haul flights delayed. I don't know about ORY but the weather was probably very similar.

I was changing planes at CDG this morning. A heavy rainstorm closed the airport for 20 minutes around 10 AM, our 10.30 KLM flight (bumpy climb) could get out with some delays around 11.15 AM. Checking the CDG arrivals at AMS I see delays of 1-2 hours the rest of the afternoon while things seem back on time by the end of the day.
nobody has ever died from hard work, but why take the risk?

One of the METARs I saw for CDG had winds of 44kts gusting to about 65kts yesterday lunchtime. It was only for about half and hour as far as I could see.
