Probably not because there is still a bunch of stuff with the goose on it. Examples include Stationary etc. AC will probably keep it as a registered Trademark.

Some bank in Canada has the rights to the trademarks, I think.

The Goose is a registered Trademark of Air Canada, thats the official position.

If you wanted to use the goose, you could use it if you changed it a bit. All you would have to do it add an eye to the goose and maybe change the colour, and legally it would not be a problem, although I'm sure AC would find a way to get it struck down.

I believe that the CP trademarks were used used as collateral with the Royal Bank. These trademarks would now be Air Canada's, though, so no, they're not available.

Today at YYC I noticed just how beautiful the "proud wings" livery is/was. But yes, sadly Air Canada owns the trademarks.

I bought a beautiful Canadi>n "proud wings" model and have it proudly displayed.

Yet another reason people will miss CP.......
