According to an article in New York Times about travel and volunteering, Air France flies direct charter flights from Paris to Agadez, Niger. Anybody knows what type of aircraft is used and is it non-stop? frequency of flights?
Thanks for the info.
Any other international flights (charter or scheduled) into Agadez?

There is no scheduled flights at all to Agadez in GDS, although I assume there might small local airlines flying there.

Air France doesn't have any charter operations since they shut down Air Charter about 8-9 years ago. I don't know if Air Charter used to fly to Agadez but AF doesn't go there. They fly only to Niamey (NIM) non-stop twice a week

There is no Air France in Agadez, only bi-weekly NIM. The french holiday company Point-Afrique (www.point-afrique.com or check www.agadez-tourisme for updated flight schedules) flies charters to Agadez, they use an Air Mediterranee aircraft.

There was scheduled service in Agadez last winter by Air Algerie, they flew two weekly flights from Agadez to Tamanrasset on an ATR42 and IIRC briefly a flight operated by Libyan Arab Airlines to Tripoli.

UTA used to operate a weekly service from CDG late 80s / early 90s on one of their subsidiary Aeromaritime's B737-400s, pre Air France merger.

Coincidentally, it is also very close to the crash site of the UTA DC10 which was operating the UT772 on 19/09/89.
