Eastern had concourses B,C,D all to themselves, no A then. All the international flights arrived at Concourse E and were then towed over to the domestic side. Pan Am has F which they acquired with National Airlines, all the international flights used E for arrival though.

Usually, the MIA-FLL and MIA-PBI routes were repositioning flights to get planes back on the SFL-NYC runs that EA did so frequently. They would fly L1011s and A300s from MIA to FLL and PBI and send them to JFK or EWR later.
