While at AMS yesterday (19 Dec) waiting on a flight to Houston I looked out pier G and saw 4 water trucks hitting a KLM plane (couldn't quite make out the type other than twin engine widebody). Just curious if it was a retirement. Some of our NATO pilots are also KLM guys and I was wondering if it was one of the guys I flew with at Geilenkirchen as two of our old timers just left the Dutch AF. Thanks for any info.

Cool thanks! When I get back to the Netherlands after new years I'll ask around with some of our Dutch guys and try and find out if it was someone I've flown with. thanks again!

It was impressive a 4 cannon salute instead of the normal 2 I see Big grin
