I was wondering if anyone who is flying out of Orlando (MCO) over the next few days could post about the parking availability. My parents are driving over from St. Pete and I want to make sure they catch their flight in time on Christmas Eve.

MCO usually has plenty of parking space for the holidays.

Between the A & B and Terminal Top Garages, and the 2 Satellite parking lots (Blue and Red), and the two overflow parking lots (Gold and Green). They should have no problems.

The Parking garages and the Blue lot usually fill up fast. Their best bet is to try the Red Lot First. It is located on the South Access (exit) Road. The Gold Lot does not open unless the Red Lot gets full.

In addition there are several Off airport parking lots on SR436 (Semeron Blvd.) which is the the road that the Airport is off of. It is just as quick to park there as it is to park at some of the satellite paring lots at the airport.

Hope this helps.

Merry Christmas

Thanks Clipper136...it looked like there was ample parking from the Airport website, but I wanted to make sure.

I was dropping off my parents at MCO about 3 hours ago and it was pretty empty for the holiday season. Although it was somewhat full compared to off season days. If I were you, I would tell your parents to leave St. Pete about 5 to 6 hours in advance, especially on Christmas Eve Day, to the airport because of the traffic on the way and then you have the delays because of passenger hold ups in the airport.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!
