Earth-shattering news!
No, not really. I remember flying on an old TWA 8 or so years back, and trying to find out who their mileage program partners were... and as I recall Royal Jordanian was the best they could come up with for international flying. I was always wonderng what happened to that partnership after TWA's demise, and today we have our answer.
In any case, Middle East seems to be an aviation growth area, so this is good news for the travelers with ties there.

Quoting AirScoot (Reply 10): Any idea if the HP/US codeshare is going out the window?
considering that AA has a wider reach for RJ to exploit + the fact that HP is now part of US AIR which is part of Star Alliance where as RJ is ONE WORLD, I would imagine the deal between HP/US-RJ is soon to be terminated in favor of AA.
AA should also look into AMM-CAI to codeshare with RJ on.
