I was looking at a good picture here on airliners.net of FedEx A300 N719FD, getting ready to turn onto the active runway at MHT. The plane has covered-up windows, and a search through the database shows that it belonged to Korean Air in its former life.
I was wondering, of all the FedEx A300s, how many of them are newly-built and delivered by Airbus (i.e. without those covered-up windows) versus those that have been repurposed passenger carriers?

All but one* of the GE powered aircraft are new (i.e. direct from Airbus); there are about 36 of those (+ a few more to come). The PW aircraft - about 16 - come from a variety of sources, including Egyptair and Korean Air.

All registration numbers ending with FE are new build.
All registration numbers ending with FD are secondhand.

I find this hard to believe. Where did you get this info? Is this for the fx airbus fleet only? The majority of the fx fleet, all a/c types, have the FE suffix. Only a few 300s and 310s have the FD suffix.
