Incident At LAX Tonight (12/22)?

While my flight (CO 67) was landing at LAX at about 7:00 PM tonight, I noticed there was a large collection of emergency equipment centered on one of the taxiways (I think it was the one perpendicular to the terminals, between T7 and T8, but my bearings could be off)

I also noticed more emergency equipment w/ lights on heading in that direction; there was at least one Airport Police vehicle in the mix. My dad also told me that he heard sirens while he was trying to get to the arrivals level.

Just curious if anyone knows if anything noteworthy happened?

Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays!

(One of the smoothest flights I've ever had...except for the last 45 minute or so. Those were rough.)

I was wondering if that was an emergency, I saw the plane climbout normally after making the usual u-turn back east from the ocean but then the aircraft started to decend rapidly turn south, overfly the south complex and executed a very short final on 25R.

Either one of two things:

1) It was so minor that is was not even news worthy OR

2) It was so major and serious that the government and officials are keeping it under wraps.

For some reason I am leaning toward the first one.

I tend to believe the first but then also remember how long the near miss on the north complex took to come to light.
