I am far too lazy to go and download the FA contracts for all the major airlines...but am willing to say that there is probably a great deal of parity/similarity between the major ones.

However, I can say this:

Those FAs at Southwest who were hired early on, and have stuck with the company...have a whole lot in their profit sharing accounts. ALL employees have profit sharing, I believe the "vesting" period was 10 years...and obviously those who were there early one when the stock was cheap and hadn't split a dozen times made out a lot better.

How much is each one worth? I'd say a conservative estimate is that the remaining FAs at Southwest are each probably worth somewhere in the vicinity of 5 or 6 Million.

DL Lead F/A 85 flight hrs per month, 12 yrs seniority....$75,000 gross per year. Fact. Includes salary, per diem and Lead F/A compensation. Not included, hundreds of warrents of DL stock at fixed priced that must be exercised by 2005.
