In the movie Swimming Upstream, about the Australian swimmer Tony Fingleton, a DC-4 in a sort of TAA livery with the reg. VH-PAF is used in an airport scene. It was listed as for sale in 2004, about a year after the movie was made.

Does this plane still exist in flying condition?

FWIW: The movie also has a nice shot of a TAA Electra taxiing up to a terminal, Brisbane, according to the story.
