LGA-MLB On DL / Comair

I've been noticing that Comair has been operating a single daily round trip between LGA-MLB lately, but I don't see it after next week. It is operated of course on a CRJ. Its probably just for the holidays but is there any chance of Delta keeping this flight or someone else doing it?

It's a seasonal extra section. I doubt it would be back as anything but a seasonal route again.

They are doing the same on LGA-SRQ and LGA-DAB. SRQ is operated with the EMB-170, while DAB and MLB are CRJ-100/200 aircraft.

Anyone think DL is testing the waters for future service? I know for a fact DAB can support year-round service to NYC on an RJ, perhaps JFK would be better for connex though. But DAB NYC is loooong overdure. Any thoughts.

Continental Express knows that too. They fly EWR-DAB year-round.

Exactly! Moreover NYC is the largest market from DAB.

OK, thanks. That's what I thought. I didn't even know these flights existed until I happened upon LGA-MLB in flightaware. Anyone know how the loads / yield were?
