The other thread has got too long/unfocused and this info will probably get lost in it. hence the new thread.

Miami Herald reports:

"Welcome to Miami, Mr. Prime Minister, and by the way. . .the airport says it wasn't our fault."

noteable quote #2

"But MIA made it clear Wednesday it was not accepting the British Airways version of events."

http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/16332059.htm

the NTSB seems to concur with MIA,too.

Was assistance provided.

I have read/heard/seen differing versions so I think it is safe to say that the NTSB report will be the most accurate when it comes out soon.

My guess would be once it was to late and he was all ready past no return. I am only basing this on the quotes from the FAA and MIA airport officials. So we will see when the official report is released. As of now it looked like the pilot screwed the pooch and made a little mistake. At least there was no damage or injuries, thats all that matters.

Just maybe this is perhaps an indication that the people over in the UK need to oust Mr Blair and elect a "Real" Labour PM; one who will do the right thing and nationalize BA! That should fix their problems!  duck   rotfl

I think most people in the UK want to oust Mr Blair. Besides which he will be standing down very soon.

As would selling them to Branson
