TAP Portugal says on 13JAN07, it'll suspend weekly flight to Sao Tome et Principe flight due to poor repair of the runway.

"According to the TAP representative in Sao Tome, Natasha D’Alva, the air link with Sao Tome and Principe will be cut as of January 13, 2007, and flight will be begin again when the runway is made safe."

From what I heard on the news a couple hours ago, TAP says that it is no longer canceling the route due to a commitment by the Sao Tome's government to start the repairs shortly.
