I wonder how common female helicopter pilots are these days.

I was flying on an HP Express flight from TUS to PHX this summer and the pilots were two good looking blondes like those in this pix. Do they still fly for Mesa?

There are probably more than just two good looking blondes that fly for mesa...

Pilots at an unnamed regional carrier on the east coast told me of rumors about an incredibly hot female captain who has "done stuff" in the cockpit.

no word on whether there is any substantiated evidence for that...most likely just "cock-pit" talk...

if you know what i mean

An airline that has a smoking hot blonde pilot is Kenmore Air. Wow.

There was one airline that had a big event one time when they had an all female flight deck and cabin crew. I am not sure, but I believe it was AA.

I guess with 2 hot blondes up front you cant call it a cock-pit any more... its now a "box office!"  drool

ExpressJet has (had?) this smokin' little redhead pilot. I got to chat with her on a flight from CLE to ORD because she was deadheading. Never forgot her voice either, and I knew she was upfront on a couple more occasions just by the voice.

Tonight's Lotto here in Australia is $33million, when I win it I am gonna get one of each of those... mmm, not sure about the chopper!

Is it just me, or would one expect at least one of the crew to have a head set on at engine start?

Here is a myspace website of a female professional pilot that I found through a google search. I notice a copy of the original Airliners.net picture has been copied on to the that users page, seen in this link. Also note the video that actually references N901RL the helicopter and flight crew being discussed. Personally I would encourage more women to take up aviation seriously, some of them are really really good and mature.

Well Norah O' Neill of Flying Tigers is one. She was the fist female pilot for them. I believe she has 2 or 3 years left flying as she was born in 49.

Good find. No "skymuffin" on the A.net users list, but she may browse here since the A.net photo is on her myspace site....
