Anchorage Turns Park Into Airstrip

This Tuesday, a park in downtown Anchorage reverted to its origin as an airstrip for biplanes.

Roads were filled in and light poles removed to turn the six-block park into a runway, to commemorate Noel Wien's contributions to Alaskan aviation with a single flight in a biplane
