I have a tradition to rent a house in the Orlando Area with family for Christmas. I'm tired of driving. When is a good time to purchase tickets to Florida for Christmas season. I'd prefer to fly Jetblue but any advice is appreciated.

Check http://www.farecompare.com for a historical guide to when the lowest fares were offered in any domestic market in the past year. They will show when fares were available for sale, not for the period of time the fares were valid, so it's still a bit of a guess. The Christmas season is going to be popular for fliers any way you slice it.

Book shortly after 330 days out of your return flight date. No Jet Blue, they only book average 5-6 months out. No Continental, they only show their
most expensive seats open for such dates. You best bets will be Delta
or AA from LGA.
