United Discontinues Cruise Bookings

My wife and I have been thinking about taking a cruise in the near future and I had been watching them on united.com for awhile. Thought I would book there and earn some great mileageplus miles, however tonight I noticed they are no longer accepting any future bookings.

Any idea what happened? Was it costing UA more than they were making off of it?

By the way does anyone have any advice on how to get a good deal on a cruise?
