31.10.00

Today is the 6th anninversary of the crash of AE 4184! Every Halloween that goes bye, I will always be reminded of this flight! It occured in Roselawn, Indiana, only 30-40 miles from where I live!

I heard the families were going to be at the crashsite, for a period of time, in which they can remember those on board the flight!

In 1994, American Eagle flew all ATR's (-42 and -72); since they have changed all aircraft to EMB-135/-145, in a matter of 6 years...i just thought that was pretty interesting!

Anyone have anything to add?

That is very untrue. Eagle still flies Saabs and ATR's.

Well, out of O'Hare and other hubs.. they are trying to get single types into each.. after 2 NOV, no more ATRs or SF3s at O'Hare..

I think that's what he's getting at..

July 17 1996: TWA
July 17 1999: JFK, Jr.
July 17 2000: Alliance Airlines

Just as many so far on July 17, but on Halloween it's gotta be stranger...

Oh yeah, to believers, Happy Halloween!
