I feel like I need a playbook to keep track of who's doing express flying for US, especially after the merger with America West. Here's who I could think of

Piedmont
PSA
Republic
Colgan
Trans States
Chautauqua (?)
Mesa
Air Wisconsin

Are these correct or are some now out of date? Anyone else on the list. Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Dave in Orlando

Really with the merger...there weren't any changes. Since Mesa was already flying for US...though they were on the way out. However, Air Midwest was sticking behind for the MCI operation.

Well they got rid of Mid-Atlantic but that isn't a really big change.

CHQ flies our 3 ILM-LGA turns. Mom loves her flight benefits on them to see one of her highschool classmate who lives 5min from LGA.

If the US website is remotely current (which since it still lists MidAtlantic I have my doubts), they say this:

MidAtlantic Airways - 1600-1999 *
PSA Airlines - 2200 - 2599
Mesa Airlines - 2600 - 2899
Chautauqua - 3000 - 3299
Trans States Airlines - 3500 - 3599
Air Wisconsin - 3590 - 4099
Piedmont - 4100-4649
Air Midwest - 4650 - 4799
Colgan Air - 4800 - 4999

Perhaps Republic is now flying the former MidAtlantic number range?

I'd take the awe of understanding over the awe of ignorance any day.

Mid-Atlantic is no longer. Their planes were bought by Republic Airways Holdings and are being used by Republic Airlines. Their flight numbers are in the 3000 something range.

After seeing that, I figured it was out of date, and hence my question.

Thanks to all who responded.

Thanks for the info!

I like the fake IATA codes... I think only Mesa, Air Midwest, Air Wisc, and Colgan have their proper codes loaded in. CHQ is RP and isn't Trans States still AX?. I've seen RW used for Republic before, so I'm assuming that one is now official.

I know some of them are not accurate but that is the way they report themselves with their airport printers on sabre
