Hello there,
Just a heads up. Tomorrow, Jan 7th, TK 1995 will be operated by an A332. If I am not mistaken this could be the first time of this type at MAN.
Good spotting.

Thanks very much for the information. Can anyone explain why the A332 is being used on this flight?

Possibly quite true.

I know there was an A340 at Ringway once about a year ago, and I have also seen an A310, but never an A330.

Manchester United did play a European Champions league FOOTBALL game on October 18th 2005. However it was against Lille (Northern France) so I doubt TK would have to upgrade their Istanbul service for this!

It's not that hard for a regular folks like us to get this information except the tail number. Are there any public systems we can get the registration information as well?

Thanks..

I believe the TK A340 was used due a "large" cargo requirement on the day.

This will be the second time that TK have used a 330 then. They now seem to mix operations between the 738 and 321, although the 737 still sees more use at MAN. They also used a 320 a few weeks ago, and have frequently used 310s in the past.

TC-JNE just turning onto final at 1330. Here is a radar screen showing her at 4325ft a few miles from MAN.

Please thank a man from MYT for the screenshot.

Probably connected with higher student traffic at the start and end of the University Christmas break. Olympic have similar peaks which used to bring in A300s (but unfortunately never A340s).

Didn't know you'd moved to Myanmar Lew - you exporting 56s and 58s there now as well?

I checked some of the univ. in Turkey, and they don't go into a break till mid-Jan. so you must mean the univ. in UK.
