At least one other, 9V-SPL.

I think 9V-SPL in the ONLY one with the scheme now. Thay had a new B744 just delivered this year, reg 9V-SPM, and it is painted in normal colours - so it seemed 9V-SPL is the only one left, unless they decide to repaint another one...

I would doubt that there would be another tropical mega top.

In fact I don't think that 9V-SPL would maintain that scheme for too much longer since 9V-SPK crashed. Asian tends to be very superstitious. So it would not be suprised for me (I am not a racist, I am a very superstitious asian too) to see 9V-SPL revert to normal scheme soon.

PZ & Megatop,

Thanks for the confirmation. I got the same reply in other postings: The only other tropical is 9V-SPL.

I hope they do not rid of SPL's colors. Despite the tragedy it still should retain it's uniqueness.

As an unsuperstitious Asian I doubt it too that they will keep the SPL in the Tropical Megatop colors for long. Hopefully they will think of a new more stylish c/s next time.

I don't think there is a reason why SPL's Tropical livery shouldn't stay. After all no airline changes its livery just because one of their aircraft crashed.
I think it should stay.

Well, I certainly hope they would not revert 9V-SPL back to the original colour...

But - I have a feeling they may too... In fact, the flight no SQ6 may be changed too - judging from what happened after SilkAir's (SQ's subsidiary) crash in 1997 involving MI185 - after the crash, they renamed the similar flight as MI211 (if I'm not mistaken - but definitely no longer MI185) - but then, that was about the time when the Asian economic crisis hit the region and SQ/MI were reducing their flight and rescheduling some so you could kind of explain the flt no change - but I'm not too sure how much longer with SQ use the flight no SQ6 in this case tho... It'll be sad to see it changed (SQ6 and 9V-SPL) - they've been operating SQ6 SIN-TPE-LAX for many years now...

Regards
