I am trying to do a research about the Chinese Airlines.

Can you guys help me to know who is the biggest Chinese airlines when it comes to Middle East and Gulf Destinations? What destination do they fly to? And from? How frequent?

I will highly appreciate your help.

Well CX is chinese now I imagine? They fly to Bahrain, Riyadh and Dubai from Hong Kong using both 333 and 777 equipment. They also fly to Dubai via Bangkok and Mumbai aswel as non stop.

I think that Air China or China Southern (maybe both) fly to/from DXB to Beijing.

To Shanghai EK operates two daily flight, to Hong-Kong there are 12 flights (not sure if cargo included) EK, CX, and KA operate.

AFAIK CX is the largest operator out of China to the Middle East. China Southern operates to DXB from Beijing.

And ET flying PEK through DXB. Seems like there is quite a bit of Africa-China traffic.
Cheers

You can also add UM into CAN via SIN (i think)
Currently China is hungry for ressources, and is sending a Tsunami wave of cheap products into africa which is hurting local products

China Southern fly to Sharjah from Beijing and Urumqi once a week, they also plan to start Cairo and Jeddah.

Both serve Dubai.

Dragon Air Cargo operate to Dubai too.

Just for information, in the past China Eastern used to serve Bahrain which was its only destination in the region.

Thanks for that, I was sure that they used to fly into one of the GCC countries. Any chance of new China-Kuwait or China-Qatar flights by Chinese airlines?

Cheers

China Southern used to operate Guangzhou-Beijing-Dubai, it was previously routed as Beijing-Urumqi-Dubai.
