I just got a mail from our company that states that as of 3/1 (1 March) new security measures will be in place at TPE -- and recommending arriving at the airport at least three hours prior to departure of international flights.

I haven't been able to find any information on the CAA's English website http://www.caa.gov.tw -- maybe someone who can read Chinese can find out more information?

Edit: Ah, OK, managed to find something on the local newspaper sites ...

Basically the new security measures being implemented are in line with US and European measures:

Liquids in quantities smaller than 100 ml
Liquids etc must be in a see-through, sealable plastic bag
Each passenger is only allowed one bag
