At first when i saw an Evergreen 742 coming to KPAE i expected it to be a freight delivery for Boeing...

I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was actually the Evergreen Supertanker!

It was only there for about 16 hours and arrived from Prestwick, Scotland. It departed this morning... as i am writing this it is touching down at JFK.

Anyone know why it was here?

Isn't it carrying freight for the moment?

I thought i had heard that... but also thought i had dreamed it up as i couldn't find the information again...

I bet they were. Probably dropping some parts. Usually Atlas 747 or Volga Dnepr -124's do that though as they have front loading noses.

According to Flightaware, there's an An-124 on her way to NGO from BFI, what's going on?

Please link in here the flightaware. I see nothing. I see one blocked flight leaving for BFI for Tokyo-HND but it doesn't tell which aircraft type.

i see... arrived about 7 hours ago. It COULD just be a cooincedence... or that the LCF is not ready and they need someone to haul the 787 wingbox over.
We are discussing this stuff over in the LCF to NGO thread.  Smile

Ok, according to the photo database, it's carrying cargo until April. Must have been a normal delivery.

Thanks for the info.

Certainly nothing normal about the cargo it would be dropping off at Boeing.  Smile
