Greetings all,

I just stumbled across this video of VH-VUG being built at RNT which I thought was quite cool. The aircraft shown at the end in Dreamliner c/s is actually Air Berlin's D-ABBN though.

Click on this link and then select 'Launch the 737-900ER site' then select 'Watch the 737 being built in real time'.

Apologies if it's been posted before - I must have missed it if so and it didn't come up in a search either.

R

Did you notice the error in the video? One would think they should no how an airplane is controlled.

Cool video but I thought real time meant actual time?

Nice and interesting Video but the music sucks.  yuck
If find it somehow strange that most people at Boeing seem much older then at Airbus.  pessimist

Its quite fascinating how Boeing and Airbus do have diffrent kinds of manufacturing for narrowbodies. The 737 looks much more handmade then the A320 wich is almost prefabricated.
Thanks for sharing.

Very nice find RobK! Awesome video with respect to content and quality  bigthumbsup . I was most fascinated by the moving engine stands that allowed engine installation as the production line moved along!

The aircraft that rolled out in the vid is different, most likely as speculated AB's D-ABBN (the one in the Dreamliner colours). Unfortunately, that aircraft has been painted into AB's standard colours now.
