I think the infield terminal will rarely if ever be used after the new major expansion to T1 opens in a couple weeks, Pier F is it? In any event there is no doubt the T7s will be at T1New as it is equiped to handle anything up to A380 and obviosuly as backbone of ACs intl operation the T7s will feature prominently at T1New.

All the widebody gates at T1 Hammerhead F are capable of handling 747s simutaneously, so we have room for 12 777s at once, or 8 777s and 2 380s.
BTW It will be a rare day when you see ANY Air Canada flight using the IFT next month. AC has priority of the T1 gates, so LH, AZ, OS, EY etc. will be using the IFT primarily, but again, only if there isn't any space left at T1 Hammerhead F. You're going to have to be very unlucky to get a 500 gate.

Just to be sure, Air Canada is getting rid of their 340s when their 777s come in?
