Recently shot video showing massive storm winds affecting (among other things) a couple of landing attempts / go-around's by 2 jets. I am sorry but i can't understand what country is this although i think i've heard something about 'Manchester'...can anyone help?
Forward the video at around 00.20 and pay attention to the wings' flexing!

IMHO it looks like Turkish TV. Other than Manchester I think I heard the Netherlands (Holanda), France and Belgium being mentioned. And yes, it's impressive, thanks for sharing.

Edited addition: You are from Cyprus, if it was Turkish TV, you should know, how dumb of me...
On a second thought: Latin characters and latin pronunciation of Holanda, Francia and Bélgica draws me to guess it is Romanian.

Hi all
I remember those pictures being shown on local TV here in Manchester. The airport was closed for a couple of hours for safety reasons because of the high winds. I saw many go-rounds that day. Lots of wind shear.

we had a windshear report on the METAR for LHR tonight, but in London it was ok now to fly!(or land), nothing special.
we picked up some heavy winds though on cruise! 125 knots!
A week ago we rocked everywhere on landing! that was more fun!
