Seasonal (summer) Dallas-Montrose service. Not an earth shattering announcement. Using the CR7 on such a route is interesting though. I thought Eagle reserved those for their longer RJ flights.

Smart move. Texans never tire of Colorado. It doesn't matter to them whether there is powder on the ground or bright sun in the sky.

Sorry to nit-pick, but the title has a typo in the airport code for Montrose, CO. The correct code is MTJ.

Not to nitpick as well, but just to clarify, this route is not new for AA/MQ. They already fly it between December and April. Though, as with Dallas-Vail, they will offer summer service as well this year.

Great! I fly to MTJ 1-2x a year. Good to know American will be flying it during the summer as well.

Not all of us can be heroes, some of us can only stand on the sidewalk and clap as they go by.

Another market that AA/Eagle could easily serve profitably, but they probably don't want to cannibalize the very good thing they've got going over at EGE, where they are by far the largest carrier during the peak winter months.

Yeah, but Texans should do at least one thing before they come here: LEARN HOW TO DRIVE!  Big grin

Anyway good to see Montrose is getting more service.
