I'm no expert at all but I would think this al depends, on demand, lease rates and full prices.
These three factors could make it better for them to stay longer, if there ain't a better alternative. Would I mean to say is if the lease rates will go down, then it becomes more interesting to keep them. Don't even know if there leased but thats a other question. Other way around would maybe be that lease rates and availability of 747-400F's or converting options from passenger 747-400 would make it a could alternative to replace there 747-200F's
