guess the fact that AA did not receive a new China route is now benefiting FRA... this could also help to speed up the new business class installation...

It should also mean one more 763 is to be available for flying elsewhere. I am wondering if AA is expected to announce some new routes to Europe/S.America in the near future. Any idea?

I would have liked to see AA start ORD-HKG services instead (ok, I know it would require more than 1x772ER)....UA has that route gangstered to itself and now Oasis Hong Kong will be starting that route soon too...

Are you speaking about CDG, MAD? And why not a new one out of MIA? For example BRU is long-rumored to get the Florida service in addition to New York and Chicago.

I would like to see that 767 put to use on a DFW-Europe route. But my guess is that that 767 will be used to do the USA-FCO route in off season.

instead of adding new destinations I believe AA will withdraw the A/Cs to install the new Business class...

AA did discontinue the NRT-SJC, thereby freeing up a single 777.

 checkmark

But look on the bright side, Jacobin777- An upgrade in an ORD-FRA route can mean a better chance to see the A380 @ ORD from LH (even sooner at least).

Let's keep those loads up!

There is plenty of spare B772 capacity in the AA system, so it shouldn't be a problem to upgrade the ORD FRA route without jeopardizing the overall operational stability of the system. Also, there might be some South America capacity downgrades for the Southern Winter season.
