He seemed to be low when they made the go-around decision, but not too low because the runway is not visible from the camera's perspective, only the taxiway. Seems to be another normal go-around, though lower than most I presume. Possibly conflicting traffic further down the runway?

I've been on an AA MD-80 during an aborted landing. Apparently someone else was taxiing across the runway we were supposed to land on so we had to go around and try it again.

Though I dont think I was that low.

Interesting clip. Must be very windy that time. Thanks for sharing. Nice overview of O'Hare.

We were quite low on that arrival..in fact, of all aborted flights I've seen or have been on, this was the lowest by far (for me at least)..I was getting ready to hold the camera tight because I thought we were going to actually be coming in contact with the runway in a couple of seconds.....

That is correct..good call... ...there was an NW further down the runway...

Or was it aborted due to somebody using electrical equipment when it should have been turned off and was interfering with the plane!  Wink

Nah...we were too close to the ground, and the F/A's saw me anyway..I try not to hide anything..it just leads to more trouble.... Wink

Interesting background noise. I wonder what the crying kid was thinking when the pilot applied power and took off again.  Smile
