Hello-
I know I love LAN, being my home airport, and am always looking for new service.
Could US Airways come to Lansing to provide more service? Such as something like
2/day to CLT 1/day to DC
I think it would be better for a ''solid/established'' carrier to come in and provide service unlike Flyi.
Any thoughts?

Valid Point, but GRR isn't far from LAN, 45 minutes. If they priced it right, who knows what could happen.
On another topic. I wonder how many people drive from GRR/FNT to LAN for G4 flights.

Two of the biggest travel agents for G4 are both located in Grand Rapids and tell me they book mainly GRR people and communities north of GRR for the G4 flights.

It's hard to believe that US served six airports in Michigan just five years ago, with them now serving only DTW.
I'm the expert on here on two things, neither of which I care about much anymore.

I didn't know this. I assumed that they would keep express service to PHL when they pulled PIT.

Ah the days of US going from PIT to GRR, FNT, AZO, LAN and MBS. Just goes to show how quick things can change.

My question was answered before it could even be asked...
Yeah... the good ol' days when PIT was the big hub and not PHL, but US couldn't put more than 60 people on the flights out of there apparently and the airport was essentially the screed door to US' submarine. I still hope things will turn around tho. People keep telling me it will never happen, well I don't bloody care...
Do not bring stranger girt into your room. The stranger girt is dangerous, it will hurt your life.

I recently flew out of LAN and it reminds me a lot of AVL. Not much happening there. I got there at 7pm on a Sunday and I was 1 of about 20 people in the entire airport. I don't see CLT-LAN service happening anytime soon.

Yeah, I really wish they could renovate the terminal to bring it up to the 21st Century. It would be nice to see it upgraded which could bring in more flights.
