What type of aircraft is fleet #881? Will those of us in the southern US be privileged enough to see it?

It is a 747-400

You won't see it in the Southern U.S.

Doesn't sound like anybody in the US will get to see it. Sounds like it'll be restricted to YVR, YYC, YYZ, YUL, and overseas.

Will do, although it wont be much to look at just the blanned Air Canadian Colours..... I'd much rather look at the goose. I will be at YYZ on wednesday and so I will see if I can find it somewhere.

Doubt that it will ever show up in YUL untill well after a full merger, unless it is in for a check or last min. replacement, that thing is a rare site even at YYZ.

Untill the merger yes most of the CP744's will be in YVR base, with the exception of one wich is being taken off the YVR-NRT route and put on YYZ-YVR. I would imagine that after the merger the CP744's will be used on European routes. The AC744's are better suited for the large cargo that goes accross the pacific from YYZ and YVR and the CP744's are perfect for many of the European flights with smaller less bulky cargo. But we will have to wait and see.

Has anyone heard definitively if Air Canada will revamp their colour scheme to incorporate a bit of CP into the livery?

Robert Milton hinted at an integrated paint scheme last month at a press conference.

But the Air Canada Corporate Logo is officially the merged

Canadi>n
Air Canada

Combined logo.
