Hey there, always good to see someone express interest in a Caribbean airline.

Cayman Airways has:

  • 3 Boeing 737-200
  • 2 Boeing 737-300

I don't know the numbers on the Twin Otters

Regarding Airlines:

  • Aerocaribbean

  • Air Canada

  • Air Jamaica

  • American Airlines

  • Atlantic Airlines de Honduras

  • British Airways

  • Cayman Airways

  • Cayman Airways Express

  • Continental Airlines

  • Delta Air Lines

  • Northwest Airlines

  • Spirit Airlines

  • US Airways

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Cheers!  wave

Their website shows their current jet fleet as 3 737-200s and 2 737-300s.

Per the current OAG, scheduled carriers at GCM apart from Cayman Airways are Air Canada, Air Jamaica, American, Delta, Spirit, US Airways.

Cayman Airways actually purchased (2?) 727-200s from Air Florida as the latter started running into trouble financially. They were used on the GCM-MIA/IAH runs, but were disposed of shortly thereafter:

Thank you! I was really not aware of that one. But for sure, First Air had a B-727-100 based at GCM operating on behalf of Cayman Airways......GCM-MIA-GCM years ago.

They have just started work in earnest on the new airport. Owen Roberts will be very nice once complete.

Look here. There was a couple articles just yesterday, but the idea hasnt changed since this came out.
