Hi,
Anyone know which international commercial airport has the longest runway? How long is it? Thanks.

GUNDU that has not been built yet, but it will be the longest runway. The longest ruwnay I know of is LAX's 25R which I think is 12091.

The longest is indeed at some airport in South Africa.

In the US it is at JFK (14,572) until the one at DEN is built-In Europe it is at Madrid-Barajas(14,300), not sure about Asia, probably in Japan somewhere.

For a non-commercial paved facility (I know that's not what you are looking for) in the US, its the NASA Space Shuttle Landing Strip in eastern Florida, near Melbourne.

For commercial (US), I believe it is JFK's 13R/31L, which runs almost the length of the property on the south side. Of course, once the runway is completed at DEN, it will be the longest.
