I thought I noticed the other day that SQ 15 was a little longer than I was used to seeing. Per Flightaware, it looks like the route is being flown with the 773 on alternate days. I presume these are the new interiors?

Also, does anyone know what's up with PAL 105 scheduled to leave tomorrow at 4pm???

I am assuming SQ15/16 is the SIN-ICN-SFO flight? To answer your question if it is then yes the flight has been the 777-300ER with the new interiors on some days. I believe come March or May all flights will be with the 777-300ER.

Flyswim,

Am curious but where did you get that info? If it is correct, would you know what time PR 104 arrives (tomorrow) ?

Thanks.

Saw it on flightaware

http://flightaware.com/live/flight/PAL105

haven't been down by SFO today or last night to see if the flight didn't go - could be an error with flightaware. just curious.

and re: SQ15 - glad to see a photo up already!

I'm scheduled to fly SQ15 on Feb 28th and I see a 772 on the website. What days do they fly the 773?

Do you know when in March?

I'll be back from NRT on Feb 28th myself. I'm trying to get a flight back to MNL via ICN about a week later on SQ's B773 but don't know if they'll be operating the 773 fulltime by then. Still trying to convince my boss to chuck up the $$ so that I can get to experience the new SQ J class but the cheap J class fares on OZ and PR aren't helping my case.  biggrin

Tell your boss that you will get a Flatbed verses a normal C seat. Just get some pictures from here and show them to your boss. Maybe that will convince him. Also tell him that I will be better to cope with jetlag and get better sleep so I won't arrive tired Big grin

Unfortunately that won't work for two reasons. 1) She takes the trip herself quite often and flies PR SFO-MNL because it's a direct flight. I refuse to fly PR for my own personal reasons. 2) She could care less what kind of seat I get because she doesn't know squat about flying. Talking of that, she's flying in today on JL so maybe that'll change her view of business flying.  biggrin .

I'll book my flight on SQ's 773 if it appears on our corporate travel website but right now it's not. If I can fly SQ SFO-ICN and then fly OZ ICN-MNL, the price will come down considerably compared to the one currently available which is SFO-ICN-SIN-MNL for +7K. She'll have a heart attack if I even cough that price to her..lol

Their ad on businessweek says that 773-ER flies on Mon, Thu & Sat from SFO and beginning March everyday service will be using 773-ER.
