AA 757 Entertainment

Hey everyone:

Friday night, I am flying my first AA redeye, a 757 from LAX-ORD. I was wondering, do these flights have movies on them? I don't sleep on planes well, so that would be fantastic. Thanks in advance!

AA's B757s have ceiling mounted TVs. On my last few transcons (BOS-SFO) they actually showed two movies; but time was always pretty tight. Enjoy the flight.

on my trips to Seattle from St.louis and Dallas have always had a movie playing of the ceiling mounted TVs. I always fly on the TWA 757's so I'm not sure if its different from the AA 757s.

Oh, I fly AA somewhat often for work, so I know them fairly well. I flew out from DFW-LAX on a 767, and was surprised when they showed programming instead of a movie, so I was curious if the same would happen eastbound.

LAX to ORD will be showing CBS eye on American at the least. As for the main movie I haven't a clue I wish I could give you a better idea.

Seriously? AA's MD's are the absolute worst planes I have ever flown on...I only do them when there just isn't anything else either 1) as cheap, or 2) as convenient. To me, they have about 3" of pitch...

Yeah, but at least they have decent seats. The B757 have crap legroom and crap seats.

I flew back to LAX on AA during the thanksgiving break on a 757 from EWR-DFW which had a movie playing on it. The movie was bad (you, me and dupree) but it was a solid flight (had the new 757 seat covers at least.)
