I just pulled this little blurb off of the employee website:

"Employees at the Tulsa maintenance and engineering base celebrated their accomplishment Thursday of achieving their Breakthrough goal. Through the joint Working Together efforts made by the Transport Workers Union Local 514 and American Airlines management, employees at the base exceeded their two-year goal to generate $500 million in value creation by the end of 2006."

The article when on to say how the company dedicated two Super 80's (MD80's) as Flagship Tulsa & Flagship Tulsa II in honor of their achievements. The one photo I saw shows a retro-style "Flagship" decal near the forward fuselage.

Does anyone know which two tail numbers were dedicated??? Anyone know if there are any other special markings besides the decals to distinguish these two aircraft?

Thanks in advance,

-AA777LVR

Not got a clue, but who says AA has bad employee relations Big grin.

If I ran an airline, Id hold competitions yearly over who gets their photo on the side of an a/c and name the a/c after that person. I can dream of course Big grin.

Id have 50% of the fleet in these "special liveries"
