I'm not sure if this has been posted already. i know there have been roomers that midwest would start service to SLC. Yesterday while doing some night flying, on tower frequency a midwest was cleared to land ahead of me so I can tell you for sure they fly to SLC, odd thing though it was around 7:00 pm. unfortunately I only heard the flight number not the aircraft type. This is probably old news, but i thought id just mention it in case anyone here didn't know. Not sure if there have been posts yet on ANET confirming the service

What was the flight number? Midwest does not regularly fly to SLC but it could have been some kind of charter or else a diversion of some type. Flight number will tell if it was a charter or not.

Midwest doesn't currently have any scheduled flights to SLC. They haven't announced anything yet either. They will soon announce their Midwest Connect destinations operated by Skywest CRJ's shortly and there is much speculation about SLC being one of those new destinations.

I also didn't see any record of any Midwest Airlines flight coming through SLC yesterday around the time you specified. What you probably heard on tower frequency was an Air Midwest flight, which flies B-1900's for US Airways Express from CDC, CNY, and VEL. Midwest Airlines uses the callsign "Midex".
