Just wanted to share this rare bird with all.

SWA leased two 737s from Aer Lingus in the 1983/84 time frame. This is EI-BEE/MSN 20413/Line 241. It was operated by SWA August 1983 to April 1984. Special thanks to a great guy (a SWA historian  Wink) in Dallas.

Ah, two of the great names in aviation, brought together on one aircraft.

They should have named it St. Herbert!

i cant figure out how to post pictures, but if you search Southwest 737-100/200, there are some in other colors too. Air FLorida, TEA, and Aer Lingus

As long as the number of take-offs equals the number of landings...you're doing fine.

Such a paint job brings out how beautiful this classic a/c is. Sad that they are departing us for some of the last times these days.  Sad

I don't think there are any pictures of EI-BEE while it was in-service for Southwest, but there are a couple for EI-BEE's sistership:

This is my favourtie, WN colours over AA stripes!

Lots of other airlines shcemes were kept with just titles, but SW spent that time adding WN colors rather than titles!

Next flights: MAN-ORK-LHR(EI)-MAN(BD); MAN-LHR(BD)-ORK (EI); DUB-ZRH-LAX (LX) LAX-YYZ (AC) YYZ-YHZ-LHR(AC)-DUB(BD)
