Hey Guys
I am a recent graduate of the University of Massachusetts Boston with a BA in Political Science and Philosophy. Having complete these four years of instruction I am now interested in pursuing my life long dream of becoming a Commerical Airline Transport Pilot. I was wondering if you guys could offer me any information on how to go about achieving this goal or if you could even recommend any schools here in the Northeast for me to look into.
Do you guys recommend an Accelerate 16-18 month program? Do airlines have officials you could talk to or do they have their own schools? I have looked into a few school already and they do not seem to offer much in the way of flight hours.

ATP has an accelerated program. Once you complete your flight training you have to build hours before airlines will hire you (even the smaller ones). Airlines will train you as well once hired on aircraft and airline specific stuff.

Maybe look into a local FBO at an airport, and/or flying club and find out about costs, etc. and get your ratings through them. Best of luck and keep us posted on how it goes.
