Does US only use the A320/319 to MIA? How big is US presence in MIA, what I can remember from the forum there presence is not that big. How come? Is it because of FLL? How big are US operations at FLL? Their presence in FLL is bigger compared to MIA, correct? Does US have plans to further expand in MIA?
Many non-AA domestic carriers do not have large presences at MIA. American is very much in control of a large chunk of the domestic market there. Most of those other carriers have a larger presence at FLL, which is not heavily controlled by any one carrier.

A319, A320, and 737-300/400
The Airbuses are recent, as MIA was mostly an all-737 station for several years, with a few occasional MD-80's or 757's.

Maybe it filled in for a 737 to handle leftover Superbowl people. CLT-MIA-CLT flights are always full. This route should be flown with 757's and A321's especially during cruise season. Many United Passengers connect to US for these flights since United has retreated from MIA.

Ok thanks for the info I knew I saw a 57. It would be nice if they came around more often. Didn't US have A330's in MIA at one point? not sure how long they had them but I'm pretty sure they were there. Does anyone know why US Airways Express left Miami?
