Am due to fly EY BKK-AUH-LGW tomorrow night (9th Feb). Annoyingly, I won't get on the 345 again (LHR-AUH with EY 345 was brilliant) but rather have 2 773s.
Any idea what's happening with the 0210 dep. to LGW on Sat. re. the bad weather?

Today's LGW flight (operated by A6ETB) diverted into MAN and has now terminated here. It is due to depart at 0640 tomorrow. Nice to see a 773 at MAN, hopefully they may become more regular in future.

Apparently BRU will go to four weekly. Currently BRU is done in combination with Toronto, 3 times a week. Toronto and BRU each will get their own flights, from then on BRUwill be served four times a week.

So, for people who want to use EY to travel between DUB and Sydney, noting that the AUHSYD flights depart AUH at about 1000, you will need to travel on EY409, but coming home on SYDAUH which arrives at AUH at 0110 you will be on EY045 from AUHDUB, unless the plane from SYD is delayed. Choosing which flight will be less complicated when the SYD flight goes daily. If you miss the connection, there are nice Desert Safaris that you can do.

Effective June 1, 2007 Ethiad will begin non-stop service from Abu Dhabi to Toronto three times per week using their Airbus A340-500 aircraft. Flights will arrive at Toronto at 0840hrs on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and then depart back non-stop at 1020hrs on the same three days. The Amadeus GDS web site is also showing that effective August 1st the airline will switch to their brand new Airbus A340-600 aircraft on the same schedule. The Brussels stop will be discontinued.
