In 1979 I was flying on a Northwest Oriet B 747-200 from Copenhagen to New York. The seat arrangement was 2+4+3 in the economical class. Total 9.

I have flown en several 747 (-200, -300 and -400) since then, but all these have 3+4+3.

Is there anybody who knows, when NW change the seat configuration
