I have heard rumours that Condor, the charter arm of Lufthansa, has decided to drop their services to the Caribbean (including destinations such as Tobago, Grenada, Barbados, St. Lucia and Antigua). Some of those countries have petitioned to BWIA to take over services to Frankfurt and Munich.

Is this pullout of Condor from the region true and, if so, why has it happened? To me, it seemed as though they got consistently good loads into Tobago, into which it flew twice weekly year-round.

Hop to it, fly for life!
