Did I miss something?

Starting Feb14 it looks like UA will operate 3 daily roundtrips from ORD to JAX. A combination of 319's and 320's.

When was this announced? UA has not had mainline in JAX since 2001. JAX is now going to have more mainline service than MIA. Strange.

Interesting, I am supposed to fly to JAX on UAX-GoJet in April, I wonder if this will change. That is great!

Good to hear. Something positive for UA in Florida after shuddering capacity at MIA (again). At least it's not Ted, too. UA needs to get rid of that brand.

...RDU now JAX, I hope they decide to keep these markets mainline. Looks like JAX mainline service is currently only through 24APR.

Sometimes we don't realize the good times when we're in them

This is great. I worked in JAX ACA when we took over service. the crj's to ord always were weight restricted. we'd be oversold by 5 and could still only go out with 38 with all bags.

At least they're making some sort of effort to try to break back into the Southeast.

Hopefully this time some of their efforts will pay off...

Thats real good news, it will attract some traffic towards Chicago providing better connecting options to Asia and Canada (Something ATL can only dream of)
