I just came across this video of BA's New Club World (courtesy of Heathrow TV) and I think it gives a much better impression of the new seat and cabin. I think it looks wonderful, and I just love the electronic dividers between each seat. The colour looks very nice too.

Take a look:

Cool, but the mechanical noise related to the seats reclining and the screens rising is irritating. I could imagine it will make quite a racket in a full cabin with everyone adjusting their seats and screens.

Looks a bit clinical though, all that blue and white.

The seats are quite noisy, although the divider when it drops is much more so (see below). On my flight there was only one guy within about three rows of us so the noise wasn't much of any issue. Valid point though...

All I know is the video of that chick bowing the guy off by raising the divider is pretty funny, and so much more polite than telling him to piss off. Can you hear that noise while in flight?

What is the exact layout? In the video it appears to be 2x3x2, with one seat facing forward and two seats together facing backwards in the middle section.

2-4-2 on 777 and main deck of 747
2-2 on 747 upper deck

Whilst wearing noise cancelling headphones it is rather obvious...I'd go as far to say it'd probably wake me up if I was wearing them when asleep as it is a rather whoosing sound. Despite the name NCHs only cancel WHITE noise; speech and other noises of variable frequencies are amplified (such as the divider dropping) because the white noise that usually helps shroud them is missing.
