Hey guys. Checking on a flight for a friend of mine. Flight 248, LGB-OAK was due out at 20:15 this evening. New time is now showing a pushback of 01:35. Anyone at Jetblue able to determine if this flight will still operate tonight? My thinking is that the crew might time out before being able to complete the quick trip up to OAK.
Lookin at the schedule, it appears if that Flight 308, IAD-LGB, may be the plane for this trip. It is scheduled in delayed for a 01:00am landing. Any help would be appreciated guys.
You'll notice many of the Jetblue flights have a comment stating "Unanticipated Delay* which means the following in legal ease;
*Subject to the airline providing timely written documentation showing that the operation met the criteria for unanticipated delay pursuant to the Long Beach Airport Noise Compatibility Ordinance Section 16.43.040, Subsection B.

Flights going into LGB can land past the curfew. The airlines face a system of fines when they break curfew/noise. As N1120A said its not a hard curfew. When a flight comes in late they will be fined on a step system each time prgressing higher and higher.

Most flights tonight on JetBlue that were to head east for red-eyes have been canceled, with the exception of a few going to small cities. It has been a very rough day again. Apologies to all who have been affected.
