I just heard on the local Missoula, Mont. news that a skywest flight had serious flaps problems en route to MSO this afternoon, after circling repeadedly the crew safely landed the CRJ with 50 passengers on board. Not sure if it was DL or UA service, but I know that every emergency crew in the Missoula area were on the scene when I drove by the airport. Thankfully everyone was ok, not sure exactly what happened. I missed the beginning of the newscast explaining all the details but likely the story will be posted at www.kpax.com in a few minutes. Just thought I would put this out there. Safe travels.

that would be my guess, the jet was the skywest 30th anniversary scheme, so that didn't help me much. I think it was landing around 1700, an UAx doesn't have a flight at that time, so I'm guessing you are right.
